Ditte Ejlerskov (b. 1982, Fredrikshavn, Denmark) is a graduate of the Malmö Art Academy (2009).

Ejlerskov has previously worked with mainstream culture and politics in her art. In recent years, she has been inspired by personal experiences related to hormones such as oxytocin and adrenaline, commonly known as the love and stress hormones. These two hormones cannot coexist at the same time, turning the relationship into a struggle between two extremes. Ejlerskov has been particularly interested in the psychological and emotional forces and how they influence behavior and relationships. This is expressed through her hand-painted color gradients, functioning as chromotherapy with emphasis on silence and meditation. Conceptual thinking and abstract brushstrokes are consistent, and the large works are often visually appealing. She offers viewers immersive experiences that challenge their perceptions of complex physiological processes. With a focus on the intersection of technology and the human body, the artist invites us to contemplate our natural existence in a rapidly developing digital world.

Ejleskov’s works have been aquired by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde (Denmark), Vendsyssel Art Museum (Denmark), ARKEN Museum of Modern Art (Denmark), MASP – São Paulo Museum of Art (Brazil), Sørlandet Art Museum (Norway), Malmö Art Museum (Sweden), City of Lund Art Collection (Sweden), The Danish Arts Agency (Denmark), CCA Centre of Contemporary Art, Andraxt (Spain), The National Public Art Council Sweden, University of Lund (Sweden), Region Skåne (Sweden), Nykredit (Denmark), Fagligt Fælles Forbund (Denmark), and det Musiske Hus (Denmark).
