Unseen Amsterdam
We have been invited to Unseen Amsterdam’s Curated section ‘Unfold Encounters’ (curated by Domenico de Chirico b. 1983, IT) with our propsal of exhibiting Norwegian artists Espen Gleditsch and Lars Morell.
While Unseen is primarly an art fair for photography, the section ‘Unfold Encounters’ is to highlight where artistic disciplines increasingly overlap, Unfold Encounters creates a space for experimentation across visual languages and artistic practices, using photography as a starting point. The section highlights the power of media combinations, encouraging artists to push the fluid boundaries of contemporary art. Through a dialogue between two artists, distinct aesthetic universes intersect, overlap, and evolve into new visual experiences and narratives. The concept of unfolding embodies a process of mutual discovery—where interaction extends beyond technique to become a dynamic act of transformation.
We will exhibit photography by Gleditsch alongside paintings and bronze sculptures by Morell, creating a dynamic dialogue between the two bodies of work.
