Kjell Varvin (b. 1939, Bærum) is educated at École Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Artes y Oficios in Barcelona. Experimentation with abstraction is characteristic of the works of Kjell Varvin, whose sculptures are based in 20th century art isms on intuition and immediacy. His works can be described as musical and rhythmic in the way he combines them in new constellations, and are often independent in the way you can view them, standing on the floor, hanging from the ceiling or on the wall.
