Hanna Hansdotter (b. 1984, Lund, SE) is educated at Konstfack in Stockholm (SE), Corning Museum of Glass in New York (US), Orrefors National School of Glass (SE) and Kosta Glass Center (SE).

Hansdotter explores the timeless art of glassmaking with a contemporary approach, blending craftsmanship with modern industrial techniques. Her sculptures embody sensuous, unconventional forms that challenge traditional perceptions of glass art. What sets Hansdotter's work apart is her embrace of the unpredictable nature of glassblowing. Each piece evolves naturally, assuming a unique shape as it cools. Her fusion of expertise and spontaneity connects her art to the ever-changing rhythms of the natural world.

Hansdotter's works are in several collections worldwide, including the National Museum, Stockholm (SE), The ringing Museum of Art, Miami (US), The National Museum, Oslo (NO), the Röhsska Museum of Design and Craft, Gothenburg (SE), KODE, Bergen (NO), Kunstsilo, Kristiansand (NO), Statens Konstråd, Public Art Agency Sweden (SE) and The Glass Factory Boda, Glass Museum (SE). She has won several awards and scholarships, such as the ELLE Decoration Design Awards, The Lauritz Craft Prize, Åke Andrén Grant, and The Residence Arts & Crafts Award.
