Kunstpraten: Interview with Artist Nellie Jonsson


In the latest episode of the art podcast "Kunstpraten," journalist Margrethe Hegnar has a conversation with Swedish ceramic artist Nellie Jonsson. Jonsson is known for her figurative and everyday objects, characterized by a naive and playful style. In the episode, she shares her sources of inspiration, which include food culture, cakes, and Instagram culture. She also provides insight into her creative process and describes her artistic development from her studies at art school to having her works acquired by the National Museum.

Jonsson also discusses her ongoing solo exhibition, "Bomba Fragola," which is on display at SKOG Art Space on Schweigaards gate 94. The exhibition runs until June 2, 2024.
